Christmas Isn't Christmas Without A Copas Turkey

Every year at least one or two of our customers remind us that in their eyes “Christmas isn’t Christmas without a Copas turkey”, and at that moment every year we take a (brief) pause to reflect. With all the ups and downs of this year; the changing of Covid measures, the reorganisation of holidays, and the uncertainty of each school day, we have never needed the certainty of Christmas more.
What we found helpful this year was to focus on what we can control. And for us that means looking after our turkeys with world class husbandry skills, care, and attention. Providing our turkeys the best possible life with meadows and cherry orchards to explore, instruments to play with, alpacas for protection, and nutritious natural food to enjoy.
As we get closer to Christmas the hard efforts of all our team reap benefits abound. As our turkeys are hung in the store with care, we discovered the outstanding quality that results in a few more turkeys being available to buy. And this same week The Times recommended us alongside a crowd of Britain’s best suppliers, Ottolenghi featured us in another of his mouth-watering Christmas recipes in The Guardian, and The Independent bowled us over listing us as Best Overall Christmas turkey available to buy this Christmas.
To say we are chuffed in an understatement. We are so proud of our team and can’t wait to get our turkeys off the farm and into your homes to enjoy in just a couple of weeks.
