Doing Our Bit

As a company geared around making customer's lives easier & consumer's meals more enjoyable over the hectic Christmas season, it is important to us that we use our specialist skills to also support those who are most vulnerable.

During December we donate a number of our turkeys to a variety of deserving national & local causes, which in 2012 saw us assist over 140 charitable organisations, making Christmas a little more special for some 6,500 people. 2011 was another succesful year which saw us assist over 120 charitable organisations, feeding 5,200 people.

Our Farmgate Collection day took place on 23rd December, with lots of festive entertainment for the family and to add to the success we managed to raise £501.34 for Naomi House Hospice - What a great way to end the Turkey season..

Our Partner Charities again this year - the Marie Curie Hospices & Help the Hospices - are two very worthy recipients for some Copas turkey assistance. With the help of our stockists we are able to donate turkeys to hospices nationwide for the Christmas meal of patients & families who weren't able to go home on Christmas day.

Closer to home we have chosen to champion a broad spectrum of valuable causes, ranging from Crisis' Christmas Appeal & The Maidenhead Advertiser's Christmas Cracker Appeal to Wokingham District's Community Voluntary Action.

Hospice Campaign 2013

 

Thank you for your interest in the Copas Traditional Turkeys Hospice Campaign! Our plan is to donate our catering turkeys to hospices across the UK again this year using a collection system that relies on the assistance of our fantastic stockists.

How It Works

We supply independent butchers, farm shops, delis & food halls with turkeys at Christmas time & through them we are able to make this campaign work. If you are a hospice that would like to receive a donation of turkeys this Christmas simply look up your nearest COPAS TURKEY STOCKIST & choose the stockist you would like to collect your turkeys from.

Then complete THIS FORM letting us know how many people you will be cooking for on Christmas Day (or at your Christmas meal on/after 22nd December) & we will confirm receipt of your request by email. Nearer the time we will confirm your donation details by email/post.

The week before Christmas we will arrange delivery of your turkeys to your nearest stockist & they will be kept there for you to collect at a convenient time.

Please note, that the turkeys can only be collected from Wednesday 18th December when it is guaranteed your stockist will have received their delivery.

We will fulfill requests on a first come, first served basis. We cannot guarantee that we can supply all requests however we will fulfill as many as we possibly can! All requests must be made by 27th November 2013.
